  • Char Dham Yatra:–  The Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand is a sacred pilgrimage that includes visiting four revered Hindu temples in the Himalayas. These four shrines—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath—are believed to be the path to spiritual salvation (moksha). The yatra usually takes place from April/May to October/November, depending on weather conditions.

Yamunotri, the Source of River Yamuna, is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.  It is located in Uttarkashi district and you can reach to the temple by a 6 km trek from Janki Chatti.

Gangotri, the Source of River Ganga, is dedicated to Goddess Ganga.   It is also lies in Uttarkashi district, you can easily visit by road followed by Yamunotri.

Kedarnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is situated in Rudraprayag district, needs a 16 km trek from Gaurikund. You can also access local  ponies, palanquins, and kandies (pitthues) for trekking to the temple, helicopter facilities are also available.

Badrinath, The Abode of Lord Vishnu. It is located in Chamoli district on the banks of the Alaknanda River. It is easily connected with roads
